H&S AMENDMENT BILL UPDATES
The Health and Safety at Work Amendment Act 2026 introduces the most significant changes to New Zealand's health and safety legislation since the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 came into force. While many of the changes are aimed at providing greater certainty for businesses and reducing unnecessary compliance, they will also require organisations to review how they identify risks, work with contractors, manage overlapping duties, and support governance responsibilities.
We've created this page as a central resource for our clients and the wider business community. Here you'll find webinar recordings, practical guidance, key updates, and information on the changes as they become available. We'll continue to update this page leading up to the legislation coming into force on 1 April 2027, so you have one place to stay informed and understand what the changes may mean for your business.
