What's your favourite part about working at Safewise?
"Definitely the people. Tracey and the other ladies in the Safewise team, but also the clients and relationships made over the years."
In a work outing, what seat in the car do you get?
"Back seat: Where there's little responsibility so I can talk without distraction."
What's your least favourite hazard and why?
"Contamination - ew! Otherwise, working at heights. While not a fear, it still gives me the heebie-jeebies sometimes."
Having advanced into a consulting role at Safewise, Sara has strengthened her knowledge and understanding of health and safety across various industries, both from Tracey mentoring her as well as our clients, who keep her learning new things.
Sara also crafts our monthly newsletter and develops fresh content in the unique Safewise style. Lastly, she's known in the office as the Site App Pro guru. She has put in considerable work to understand our partnered app through extensive trial and error and can effectively implement and support the software across the diverse industries our clients work in.
Sara starts her final year in a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management in 2026 and is a student member of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management (NZISM).
