Office Manager - BA
Michelle is a very energetic and hardworking team member with a wide range of experience. In 2011 she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Development and Management and went on to work for the provincial government in the Northern Cape in South Africa. There she started in a Human Resource graduate programme and went on to become the Executive assistant to the Social Development Head of Department for Northern Cape Provincial Province.
In 2013, Michelle relocated and found herself working in a training company for trades, where she increasingly played a role in the health and safety practices by supporting the health and safety practitioners, learners and other staff members. She joined Safewise in May 2018 where her commitment and work ethic has already made a difference.
She has always looked after her own health by leading an active lifestyle and knows what a big difference good health and safety practices makes not just at work, but at home as well.
Chantelle joined our team in February 2020, after relocating with her family to New Zealand from South Africa.
Chantelle has experience in a variety of sectors. She worked on a coal mine for 2 years as a Health and Safety Advisor. She then moved on to work for an electrical engineering and civil construction company where she fulfilled the role of Junior Health and Safety Manager for 5 years working with major State-Owned entities and Local Municipalities.
Chantelle is an energetic young lady who is confident about the work that she does. She is hard working and passionate about working with people.
Patricio joined our team in September 2018 after relocating to New Zealand from Chile, with his family in February 2018.
Patricio has completed a degree in professional health and safety through the University of Inacap in Santiago Chile. He has eight years of experience working in the health and safety sector.
Patricio has worked in several different industries including Defence (Air Force), Financial and the hospitality industry. He has also owned his own restaurant which has given him an excellent understanding of business needs.
Compliance Assistant - BMS
Holly joined the Safewise team as our Compliance Assistant. In 2018 Holly completed a Bachelor of Business Management with a major in Human Resource Management through the University of Waikato.
Through her degree Holly realised that she had a passion for health and safety and is hoping to develop a good understanding of the sectors principals through her role at Safewise.
In her position as Compliance Assistant Holly is required to keep up to date with industry changes to ensure we are providing the most current and relevant information to all our clients.
Client Services and Sales Assistant
Sara, fills the role of Client Services and Sales Assistant, though some may know her from her time filling the administration role.
Sara has been involved in dairy farming for 10 years and has completed a Diploma in Agribusiness Management. Through her study and time in business, Sara understands the importance of having good, easy-to-manage systems in place and how crucial health and safety is in the workplace.
As part of Sara’s role as Client Services and Sales Assistant, she creates the newsletters, manages our Facebook, keeps in contact with all of our wonderful clients as well as manages the marketing of our services.
Sara has also plenty of customer service experience in a range of industries and her bubbly and approachable personality makes her a great fit as Client Services and Sales Assistant.
Director and Consultant - DipHSM, Grad DipOSH, GradNZISM
Tracey established Safewise in 2008, becoming a full-time health and safety practitioner. Prior to this she was the co-owner and co-director of a large private training establishment where she developed her interest in health and safety.
Tracey was privileged to undertake a Diploma in Health and Safety Management, graduating in April 2008. She believes that continual professional development is essential and graduated
in 2014 with a Graduate Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health. Tracey has been graded as a Graduate Member of New Zealand Institute of Safety Management. This recognises her training, qualifications and experience in the health and safety industry. Tracey served on the NZISM Waikato committee for 11 years, often in an executive role, before standing down in May 2020. Tracey is on the HASANZ register.
Tracey loves to build good relationships with her clients and works to create practical health and safety solutions for them.
