Experience & Qualifications
Tracey Murphy has a Diploma in Health and Safety Management. She also has 15 years experience in owning and managing a private training establishment (AMS Group Limited). This experience has made her familiar with legal compliance, a commitment to quality, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.The PTE undertook a health and safety role for many of its clients, including auditing and accident investigation. Tracey has qualifications and experience in these roles.
The links she has maintained with AMS Group provides her with a huge network of knowledge and skills in many different industries.
Safewise is a member of NZISM (New Zealand Institute of Safety Management), NZIM (New Zealand Institute of Management), Standards NZ, EMA (Employers and Manufacturers' Association), Chamber of Commerce.
Tracey Murphy
I trained and worked as a radiographer. I saw many injuries and the appalling aftermath which resulted. Although I was already a strong believer in injury prevention, this made me more aware of the role of education and compliance.
I have spent the last 15 years as a director and manager of a private training establishment. This has given me strong skills in interpreting and implementing systems for Government requirements.
The PTE specialised in all levels of training from unemployed to management and this has given me the ability to make sure that systems are able to be understood and used across the board.
I have achieved a Diploma in Health and Safety Management and am currently studying part time at the University of Waikato. I am also studying Massey University's Graduate Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
